The 1% protocol fee
The additional protocol fee is 1% of actual swap-input USDC. Its four gross allocations are the protocol, chosen subject, integrating application and application-directed allocation. Bridge, execution and gas costs are separate and must be reviewed in the quote.
| Allocation | Trade-input percentage |
|---|---|
| Protocol | 0.25% |
| Chosen subject, gross | 0.25% |
| Integrating application | 0.25% |
| Application-directed allocation | 0.25% |
20% of the subject’s allocation
With eligible holders, V0.4 allocates 20% of the subject’s actual gross fee to its holder pool. This is inside the existing 1% fee. It is not 20% of all trading fees or trading profits. With no eligible holdings, the subject retains its whole allocation.
For an illustrative 1,000 USDC swap input, the protocol fee is 10 USDC. The subject’s gross share is 2.5 USDC; 0.5 goes to eligible holders and 2 remains with the subject. Integer rounding is applied onchain.
Eligibility and earned income
Registered V0.4 Relation Token quantities count equally across the same subject’s assets and admitted Cores. Distribution uses holdings at the end of the previous block. Newly minted or received units join from the next block.
Earned income stays with its original wallet after tokens are transferred. Each wallet authorizes its own claim. Current frontend claims pay the signing wallet. Future trades, fee income and returns are not guaranteed.
Unclaimed subjects and recovery
A subject’s unclaimed fee allocation stays reserved until an authorized claim and withdrawal. It has no claim deadline and cannot be swept by the discoverer. Failed or recovered buys do not mint Relation Tokens or produce a completed economic relationship.
