Protocol overview
The shared economic relationship layer behind social trading.

One action, two subjects
MoonShip connects a buyer, the source they explicitly choose, an exact asset and evidence of a completed buy. The source choice is the buyer’s declaration. Execution is verified separately.
For example, Alice discovers ETH through Bob. She chooses Bob in checkout. The bought asset reaches her receiving wallet; after protocol settlement, she receives the Bob-ETH Relation Token on Monad.
Record · Mint · Split · Connect
Record stores accepted settled actions. Mint issues a separate ERC-20 for each Subject × exact Asset. Split allocates fees actually received. Connect lets applications use shared identities, history and tokens.
Protocol and application
Monad hosts stable subjects, relationship settlement, issuance and fee accounting. The web app and Chrome extension provide discovery, wallet confirmation, profiles and holder communication. Applications may define their own participation rules.
The protocol’s interfaces are reusable, while execution verifiers and Core admission remain explicit trust and governance boundaries.

Many forms of social trading
People can discover assets through content, choose another person as a transaction source, or follow another trader’s actions. These are different application experiences within the broader idea of social trading.
The current MoonShip app implements user-selected source buys. Copy trading is an application direction: continuous mirroring needs its own scoped authorization, execution, cancellation and risk controls. A source selection is not permission to place future orders.
